Application of LPCBL Combined With Seminar Teaching Method in Obstetric Nursing Teaching
Objective To explore the teaching value of lecture,problem,case-based learning(LPCBL)combined with Seminar teaching method for obstetric nursing.Methods A total of 106 nursing interns admitted to the department of obstetrics from May 2021 to January 2022 Nanjing Women and Children's Healthcare Hospital were selected as research objects.According to the principle of random number table,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 53 students in each group.The control group was taught with lecture-based learning(LBL),while the observation group was taught with the LPCBL combined with Seminar teaching method.By comparing the two groups of interns'theoretical and practical performance in the 2-month internship,the interns'satisfaction with teaching work was found.Results In the assessment of interns,the theoretical knowledge scores[(92.02±4.28)points]and practical operation scores[(89.25±4.15)points]of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.001).In the investigation of interns'satisfaction with teaching work,the satisfaction scores of all aspects in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion In the nursing and teaching work of obstetrics,adopting the teaching methods of LPCBL and Seminar can achieve good teaching results,which is helpful to improve the grasp of theoretical knowledge of interns,and also beneficial to the improvement of the operational level and satisfaction of interns.
