The Application of Sandwich Teaching Method Combined With PACS in the Teaching of Medical Imaging Diagnostics
Objective To explore the effect of Sandwich teaching method combined with picture archiving communication system(PACS)in the teaching of medical imaging diagnostics.Methods A total of 45 undergraduate students from the school of medical imaging of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from September 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the control group,and the traditional teaching mode was adopted.A total of 45 undergraduate students from the school of medical imaging of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from September 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research group,and Sandwich teaching method combined with PACS was adopted.The assessment results,learning interest,critical thinking ability and teaching quality satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of basic theory,impact analysis,report writing and differential diagnosis in the research group[(89.19±3.26)points,(95.76±2.85)points,(89.06±2.74)points,(91.58±4.09)points]were higher than those in the control group[(81.06±3.11)points,(84.73±3.67)points,(80.39±3.25)points,(81.89±4.11)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The score of learning interest in the two groups increased after teaching,and in comparision of the control group[(7.34±0.95)points],the research group[(8.79±1.02)points]was higher,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of the Chinese version of the critical thinking disposition inventory(CTDI-CV)after teaching in the two groups were improved,and in comparision of the control group,the research group was higher,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The satisfaction score of teaching quality in the research group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion Sandwich teaching method combined with PACS in the teaching of medical imaging diagnostics can improve the examination results and learning interest,improve the ability of critical thinking,and improve the satisfaction of teaching quality.
