Evaluation on the Effect of Teaching Model Based on the"Three-Way Integration"in the Cultivation of Clinical Ability of Traditional Chinese Medicine Residents
Objective To explore the value of the"three-way integration"teaching model, the combination of the Deming circle(plan do check action,PDCA)cycle management model and the Mini-Clinical evaluation exercise(mini-CEX)combined with direct observation of procedural skills(DOPS)in the training and assessment of clinical abilities of medical students. Methods A total of 60 residents who trained in the cardiovascular department of the first affiliated hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and the trainees were divided into two groups, with 30 students in each group. The control group was trained with traditional teaching methods, while the observation group was trained with"three-way integration"teaching method.A comparative analysis of teaching effect and satisfaction questionnaire survey after training was carried out. Results Using the"three-way integration"teaching method, the observation group was better than the control group in terms of interview skills, cardiac examination, clinical judgment, communication, overall evaluation, total evaluation score and satisfaction questionnaire, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the"three-way integration"teaching mode in clinical teaching is beneficial to improve the students'comprehensive clinical ability, clinical thinking ability and operational skills level, and has high application value in the clinical teaching of cardiovascular medicine.
