The Application of Bone Marrow Puncture and Biopsy Teaching Video in the Residential Training Teaching of Hematology Department
Objective The purpose of this study is to explore the application of teaching videos on bone marrow puncture and biopsy in the standardized training of residents in the rotating teaching of hematology.Methods A total of 36 resident doctors who participated in rotating residential training in the department of hematology,the Second Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 18 resident physician in each group.The experimental group received the video teaching of bone marrow puncture and bone marrow biopsy,and the video was taught in combination with graphic annotation,standardized model display,full simulation operation,etc.Meanwhile,the control group was taught by traditional slide show and face-to-face lecture.At the end of the course,the assessment of bone marrow puncture and bone marrow biopsy was performed.The questionnaire was used to complete the two-way assessment between the teaching instructor and the residents,and the residents'satisfaction with the teaching video was collected.Results The test scores of bone marrow aspiration and bone marrow biopsy in experimental groups were higher than those in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of operation guidance,clinical level and work attitude of teachers in experimental group were higher than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The practical level and quantitative scores of clinical thinking assessment of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).All participants agreed that the video helped to increase interest in learning and improve the quality of the training.Conclusion The video teaching mode can effectively help resident physicians master operational skills,improve the learning interest and assessment results of standardized training students,and greatly improve the quality of training.Therefore,the teaching video model is worthy of in-depth promotion and application in clinical learning.
