Construction and Practice of Ideological and Political Education of Postgraduate Course of Anesthesiology Based on OBE Concept Under the Background of"New Medicine"
Objective To explore the construction and practice of the ideological and political system of anesthesia graduate courses based on the concept of outcome based education(OBE)under the background of"new medical science".Method A total of 94 graduate students in anesthesiology from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University from June 2018 to June 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group(n=47,from June 2018 to the end of May 2020)and an observation group(n=47,from June 2020 to the end of June 2022)according to the time point.The control group was taught with traditional methods,while the observation group was taught with a graduate course ideological and political system based on the OBE concept under the background of"new medical science".The anesthesia practice ability,quantitative assessment scores,and satisfaction of the two groups of students were compared.Results After 3 months of practice,the observation group scored higher than the control group in terms of medical history collection[(8.12±0.88)points],anesthesia method[(8.21±0.79)points],communication ability[(8.17±0.83)points],anesthesia judgment[(7.95±0.72)points],operational ability[(7.99±0.78)points]and humanistic care[(8.05±0.74)points],with statistical significance(P<0.001).After 3 months of practice,the observation group had higher scores in anesthesia theory assessment[(26.52±4.31)points],anesthesia skills assessment[(27.49±3.98)points]and daily practice assessment[(35.68±4.31)points]compared to the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).After 3 months of practice,the satisfaction level of the observation group with teaching methods,expanding anesthesia thinking,increasing team awareness,improving anesthesia skills,increasing topic communication,and whether to continue using this method for teaching was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Based on the OBE concept,a successful construction of an ideological and political system for anesthesia graduate courses under the background of"new medical science"can help to improve students'clinical practice ability and assessment level in graduate teaching,and can achieve high satisfaction.
