Construction of Quality Management System for Graduation Theses of Laboratory Medicine Undergraduates Based on STEAM Concept
STEAM[science,technology,arts,engineering,mathematics]education is an interdisciplinary education concept that emphasizes practice,curriculum diversification and interdisciplinary integration,and focuses on cultivating students'ability to discover and solve problems using multiple disciplines.Guided by the STEAM education concept,the teaching management team of the Clinical Laboratory of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital has broadened students'horizons by setting up the first interdisciplinary group in the field of inspection,guaranteed students'interest and quality in participating in graduation papers by establishing the database of tutors and the double tutor system,and improved undergraduates'scientific research literacy and multi-disciplinary application ability through perfect graduation thesis design and writing training.Through the point management system to stimulate students'enthusiasm for autonomous learning,through the holding of a variety of teaching activities to promote students'teamwork ability,through the ISO15189 quality management system to conduct a comprehensive quality supervision of undergraduate graduates practice teaching,through the establishment of a three-way linkage and mutual assessment system to achieve the integration of discipline,teaching and learning.It effectively cultivates the innovative thinking ability of undergraduate students and improves the quality level of graduation thesis.
