The Application Effect of Virtual Simulation Training Platform in Midwifery Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges Under the Background of Three Education Reform
Objective To explore the application effect of virtual simulation practical nursing model in midwifery teaching in higher vocational colleges under the background of three education reform.Methods A total of 104 midwifery students enrolled in Jiangsu Provincial Xuzhou Pharmaceutical Vocational College from September 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the observation objects.According to their enrollment years,they were divided into the control group and the observation group.A total of 52 students in the control group implemented the traditional nursing practical training teaching mode,and a total of 52 students in the observation group implemented the virtual simulation practical training nursing teaching mode under the background of the three education reform.Compared the two groups of students'unit assessment results,students'general ability,core competency and so on.Results The theoretical knowledge and practical operation scores of the students of observation group in prenatal care and examination,normal delivery period nursing,and evaluation and management of abnormal delivery were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group students scored(10.38±1.43)points in their ability to cooperate and interact with others,(3.69±0.14)points in their ability to use numbers,(14.43±1.37)points in their self-development and self-management abilities,(6.44±1.47)points in their ability to innovate and design,(3.13±1.19)points in their ability to use technology,(14.33±1.22)points in their ability to communicate and interact,and(65.37±5.39)points in their total score,all of which were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The students of observation group had higher scores and total scores in pre pregnancy care,pregnancy care,delivery care,newborn care,postpartum care,and public health care than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the background of the three education reform,the virtual simulation practical nursing teaching mode is helpful to improve the unit assessment results of midwifery students in higher vocational colleges,strengthen their general ability and enhance their core competence.
