Application of Case-based PDG Team Training in Neurosurgery Specialist Training
Objective To explore the effect of case-based PDG team training for neurosurgery specialists. Methods A review of the neurosurgery department of Binzhou Medical University Hospital from September 2018 to August 2020,a total of 20 subspecialty rotation students as the control group, and September 2020 to August 2022 based on the PDG team learning method training of 24 students as the experimental group. The learning effects of the two groups were evaluated in three aspects:basic knowledge, case analysis and surgical skills. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the theoretical knowledge assessment scores between(87.27±8.21)points in the experimental group and(84.95±7.74)points in the control group(P>0.05).The difference in case analysis scores between(84.27±4.21)points of students in the experimental group and(78.76±8.58)points in the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical skill scores of(91.15±5.44)points of students in the experimental group were compared with those of(83.42±3.38)points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The application of case-based PDG team training in the training of neurosurgery specialists has significant effects, which can improve the students'clinical thinking ability and basic skills.
