Objective To explore the application value of ideological and political education based on organ transplantation cases in clinical nursing practice teaching.Methods A total of 20 undergraduate nursing students who participated in the internship in hepatobiliary surgery from August 2021 to May 2022 were selected,including 18 females and 2 males.They were randomly divided into organ transplantation teaching group(10 students)and traditional teaching group(10 students).Both groups were taught clinically in a one-to-one way.The organ transplantation teaching group managed the recipients of organ transplantation.During the teaching process,the ideological and political elements of organ transplantation were deeply explored and learned from clinical,family,humanistic,social and other aspects.The routine teaching group managed ordinary patients in the ward.Compared the quality of teaching(theoretical examination,skill operation test),operational performance,comprehensive quality evaluation,tripartite evaluation and other indicators of the two groups.Results The theoretical and operational scores of the organ transplantation teaching group were significantly better than those of the traditional teaching group[(90.90±3.48)points vs.(86.70±4.08)points;(92.89±2.12)points vs.(89.59±2.80)points].The comprehensive quality evaluation and tripartite satisfaction evaluation of the students in the organ transplantation teaching group were also significantly better than those in the traditional teaching group with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Ideological and political education based on organ transplantation cases can comprehensively improve the educational function of ideological and political education,stimulate students'learning motivation,and promote the improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical ability.
