With the development of society,male diseases that harm men's health are on the rise,and the demand for excellent andrology doctors is increasing.However,there is still great room for improvement in the training of andrology graduate students in China.In the context of"great ideological and political education",introducing the concept of translational medicine,building a bridge between basic medical research and clinical medicine,and crossing disciplines to enable andrology graduate students to have richer knowledge reserves and more proficient clinical practice abilities are the only way to cultivate andrology graduate students.The article reviews the progress of integrating the concept of translational medicine into medical talent cultivation,pointing out the problems of disconnection between basic and clinical aspects,emphasis on theory over practice,and lack of translational medicine platforms in the training of andrology graduate students.On this basis,countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to enhance the translational medical concepts and abilities of andrology graduate students,including adhering to problem oriented cultivation of translational medical concepts,creating conditions for translational medicine,strengthening academic exchanges,exploring clinical data resources,and building platforms to implement the implementation of translational medical achievements.
