A Preliminary Study on Online Teaching Mode of Clinical Skills in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Objective To explore the effect of online teaching mode in obstetrics and gynecology clinical skills training,and evaluate the effect of this teaching mode.Methods A total of 855 clinical undergraduates of 2016 and 2017 in Guangzhou Medical University from December 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects.A total of 344 students from grade 2017 were divided into study group and 511 students from grade 2016 were divided into control group.The online teaching was implemented in the research group,and students were taught online obstetrics and gynecology clinical skills through the the offline teaching was implemented in the research group.The results of the clinical skill theory examination of the two groups were compared,and a questionnaire survey was conducted on the recognition degree of online skill teaching to collect feedback from medical students participating in online learning,and to analyze the application effect of online teaching mode in the clinical skill training of obstetrics and gynecology.Results The test scores of clinical skill theory in experimental group were better than those in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The questionnaire survey showed that 85%(292/344)students in the research group were interested in online skills teaching,75%(258/344)students had a great gain,and 5%(17/344)students had no interest in online teaching and little gain.Conclusion The online teaching mode is beneficial to improve students'clinical skill test scores,and has some limitations in the clinical skill teaching of obstetrics and gynecology,but it is feasible and has certain effects.
