The Application Value of Situational Teaching Method in Pediatric Clinical Teaching
Objective To analyze the Application Value of Situational Teaching Method in Pediatric Clinical Teaching special period.Methods A total of 60 medical students who had clinical practice in pediatrics of Yantai Yeda Hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number method,with 30 students in each group.The conventional teaching method was adopted in the control group,while the situational teaching method was adopted in the observation group.The assessment results,self-learning results and teaching quality scores of the two groups were compared.Results The theoretical and practical scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of communication ability,problem solving ability,work coordination ability and self-study ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The satisfaction of medical students in the observation group on improving learning enthusiasm,reducing learning difficulty and developing independent learning ability was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of junior college teaching quality,ideological and political teaching quality and comprehensive literacy training level of the observation group were higher than those of the observation group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion In the clinical teaching of pediatrics,integrating ideological and political courses into situational teaching can improve teaching effectiveness,develop students'self-learning ability,help improve students'grades,effectively improve teaching quality,and achieve student satisfaction.This method can be promoted in clinical teaching.
