Application of Information Technology-Based Flipped Classroom Combined With CBL Teaching in Bone Trauma Surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of information technology-based flipped classroom combined with case-based learning(CBL)in nursing teaching of bone trauma surgery. Methods A total of 120 nursing students who interned in the department of bone trauma surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from July 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table method, with 60 students in each group. The control group used traditional teaching methods, while the research group used information technology-based flipped classroom combined with CBL teaching method. The satisfaction of theoretical knowledge, skill operation, clinical thinking ability, and teaching effectiveness between the two groups of nursing students was compared. Results The theoretical knowledge and operational skills scores of the research group were(88.57±7.56)points and(90.38±6.20)points,which were higher than those of the control group[(83.43±7.76)points and(85.05±7.28)points],with statistical significance(P<0.05).The systematic thinking,evidence-based thinking, critical thinking, and total thinking scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching methods, teaching content, teaching effectiveness,self-evaluation satisfaction score and total teaching satisfaction score of the research group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of information technology-based flipped classroom combined with CBL teaching method in clinical teaching of bone trauma surgery internship nursing students meets the teaching and training needs of internship nursing students under special circumstances, and improves the teaching quality of internship nursing students.
