Application of Microvideo Counter Example Teaching Method in Otolaryngology Nursing Operation Classroom
Objective To explore the application research of micro video counterexample teaching method in otorhinolaryngology nursing operation classroom.Method A total of 60 intern nurses from the department of otolaryngology,Mindong Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from May 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups with 30 intern in each group.The control group received routine teaching,while the observation group received micro video counter example teaching method.The assessment scores,teaching effectiveness evaluation,incidence of operational assessment errors,communication skills,and empathy abilities of the two groups of nurses were compared.Result The assessment scores of both groups after teaching were higher than before,and the observation group had higher assessment scores than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The observation group teachers had higher levels of knowledge and skills,actual completion status of teaching plans,achieved teaching effects,innovative teaching abilities,and selected teaching modes than the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).The incidence of error prone points in the observation group's operational assessment was 6.67%,lower than 43.33%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had higher scores in doctor-patient communication,humanistic care,communication skills,organizational effectiveness,overall clinical ability,sign observation,and clinical judgment than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.001).Conclusion Applying the micro video counterexample teaching method to clinical otolaryngology nursing operation classroom teaching can further enhance the practical operation ability of each nurse,reduce the incidence of errors in the operation process,and improve the quality of teaching and clinical work.
