Analysis on the Effect of Typical Case Teaching Method in Clinical Practice Teaching of Psychiatry
Objective To study the effectiveness of applying typical case teaching method in clinical practice teaching of psychiatry.Method A total of 42 interns from Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau Psychiatric Hospital and Guangdong Provincial Mental Health Center from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 21 interns in each group using a random envelope method.The control group used conventional teaching methods,while the research group used case teaching methods to compare the teaching satisfaction,various assessments scores,and main attitudes towards teaching methods of the two groups of interns.The satisfaction rate of interns in the research group was 100%,which was higher than 57.14%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The assessment scores of the research group in learning attitude,teaching tool use,practical operation,learning ability,team collaboration,and potential exploration were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching attitude towards typical case teaching of the students in research group was mainly positive.Conclusion The typical case teaching method has certain application value in clinical practice teaching of psychiatry,which can effectively improve the learning level and teaching satisfaction of interns,and students mainly hold a positive attitude towards the case teaching method.
