Exploration on the Application of One Minute Preceptor in Standardizing Bedside Teaching
Objective To investigate the application effect of one minute preceptor(OMP)on standardized bedside teaching.Methods Clinical OMP teaching was taught by 21 teachers and 38 residents in 14 subspecialty departments of Shenzhen Children's Hospital,and the implementation effect was analyzed.Results 68.42%of the teachers believed that the OMP method had significant effect,and 28.57%thought that the effect was not significant.52.38%of the teachers recommended to carry out OMP frequency less than 5 times,28.57%of 5~10 times,and 14.29%believed that the more times the conduct,the better.61.9%of the teachers affirmed their professional knowledge and ability,and 28.57%believed that they needed to continue to accumulate experience.71.43%of the teaching teachers could improve the clinical thinking ability of residents,and 28.57%thought that they could improve the ability of medical history collection and humanistic communication.3 residents were unable to understand the teaching in the clinic,and 35 residents said that they were helpful.Conclusion The OMP model provides a systematic teaching framework for clinical teaching workers,provides guidance and feedback for students,and is conducive to standardizing the daily teaching process,thereby standardizing and quantifying the bedside teaching process.
