Investigation on the Satisfaction of Standardized Training Skills Examination of Resident Doctors in Ultrasound Medicine Specialty
Objective A questionnaire survey was conducted for examiners and examinees w ho participated in the clinical skill tests of the residency standardized training graduation examination of ultrasound medicine in Hubei Province in 2022 and feedback was collected,so as to provide reference for improving the standardized training examination.Methods Questionnaire was taken to analyze the multi-dimensional satisfaction of 64 examiners and 100 examinees who participated in the assessment in May 2022.Test station setup,test practicability,test universality and other items were included in the examiner survey content.Test practicability,test difficulty and other items were included in the examinee survey content.Results Examiner satisfaction with the test station layout was high,according to the survey results of examiners.The setup of the test stations was deemed reasonable by 84.9%of the examiners,while the number of test stations was deemed moderate by 12.5%of the examiners.This was agreed upon by 54.7%and 45.3%of the examiners that the skill test could reflect the level of students in the training process,respectively.100%of examiners are in favor of promoting the test model.The examiner recommended appropriate selection of standardized patients with positive signs and further optimization of the scoring criteria for uniformity.The results of examinee survey showed that the test site A and the examinee with rich work experience before enrollment had higher satisfaction scores for the practicability of the test,which were(9.58±0.92)points and(9.57±0.78)points,respectively.The examinees with rich work experience and participated in the mock test before the training thought that the test was less difficult,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions It is helpful to further improve the examination system of residential training skills by establishing standardized patient database and examiner training on a daily basis.It is helpful to improve the examinees'confidence and ability to take the exam by conducting hierarchical management and teaching according to the clinical basis of examinees in the process of daily standardized training,as well as establishing the mock examination system prior to the exam.
