Study on Effect of TNS Combined With Mind Mapping in Clinical Teaching of Neurology Department
Objective To exploring the impact of the application of tutor-network-seminar(TNS)combined mind mapping in clinical teaching of neurology on student performance,comprehensive quality,and teaching satisfaction.Methods A total of 110 undergraduates in the department of neurology of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities from March 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the observation objects.According to the class is divided into teaching reform class 55,general undergraduate class 55.Traditional teaching methods were adopted in ordinary undergraduate courses.The clinical teaching method of TNS combined with mind mapping was adopted in the teaching reform class.The results of neurology examination,excellent rate of comprehensive quality evaluation and teaching satisfaction of the two classes were compared.Results The scores of neurology theory,admission assessment,consultation,physical examination,diagnosis,treatment,doctor-patient communication and humanistic care of the students in the teaching reform class were higher than those in the ordinary undergraduate class,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate(70.91%)of the students in the teaching reform class was higher than that in the general undergraduate class(50.91%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of teaching content,teaching method,teaching effect and teacher evaluation of the students in the teaching reform class were higher than those in the ordinary undergraduate class,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion TNS combined with mind mapping teaching mode in neurology clinical teaching can improve students'academic performance,comprehensive quality and teaching satisfaction.
