Application of Humanistic Care Education in Endoscopic Teaching for Master's Students Majoring in Gastroenterology
Digestive endoscopic technique is a necessary skill for gastroenterologists.Professional master's students who master gastroenteroscopy operations during the training period are more conducive to career planning and development.As an invasive procedure,digestive endoscopy may lead to negative emotions such as fear,withdrawal,and anxiety in patients.Humanistic care can effectively soothe patients'emotions and improve doctor-patient cooperation.Based on reality,the endoscopy center of affiliated hospital of Guangdong Medical University integrates humanistic care into the basic operation teaching,develops a humanistic training plan and cultivates humanistic concept of"patient-centered"for endoscopic talents.Standardized enrollment education,strengthening medical ethics and medical ethics education,enabling students to learn to empathize and communicate effectively with patients,while cultivating students'subjective initiative in learning and improving operational skills.From thinking to action,the students gradually incorporate humanistic literacy into the daily work of discipline training trainees daily work.The educational practice of integrating medicine and humanities was summarized,providing reference for humanistic education in endoscopic medicine.
