Exploration and Practice of Ideological and Political Education in Biomedical Engineering Curriculum
Biomedical engineering is an introductory course offered by the biomedical engineering department of Xuzhou Medical University during the freshman year.The course aims to familiarize students with the basic concepts,principles,and applications of biomedical engineering.Additionally,the freshman year is a crucial period for students to develop their ethical and personal character.Therefore,enhancing the ideological and political education in the field of biomedical engineering becomes particularly important.The course team of instructors in this context,based on the characteristics of biomedical engineering courses,has effectively utilized various teaching designs and methods.They have delved into the ideological and political education elements embedded in each chapter of the course,achieving an organic integration of knowledge impartation and ideological education.Simultaneously,leveraging a multi-dimensional course cloud platform,they have strengthened the practical effects of ideological education in the course,expanding its breadth and depth.This approach has reinforced guiding principles and contemporary relevance of the course,effectively meeting the needs of students majoring in biomedical engineering.
