Objective To explore the application effect of cross-chapters integration in the teaching of Pathophysiology. Methods A total of 80 clinical students of grade 2021 in Zhuhai Campus of Zunyi Medical University from March to July 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 40 students in each group. The traditional chapter sequence was adopted in the control group, and the cross-chapter integrated teaching was adopted in the experimental group adopted. The students of two groups were compared abont participation and final theory examination scores in learning Pathophysiology. Results The scores of vitality[(3.4±0.6)points],professionalism[(3.6±0.8)points],concentration[(3.7±0.7)points]and final theory examination[(83.4±0.5)points]of experimental group were higher than those of control group[(3.1±0.8)points,(3.3±0.5)points,(3.3±0.6)points,(75.9±0.6)points],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The cross-chapters integration course can increase students'interest and input in the study of Pathophysiology, improve the teaching quality, and have good results in the course reform of Pathophysiology.
