Application of PACS Combined With Multimedia Teaching Method in Internship Teaching of Nephrology
Objective To explore the value of combining medical image storage and communication system(PACS)with network multimedia teaching method in the process of conducting internship teaching in nephrology.Methods From February 2020 to August 2022,60 interns in the department of nephrology at Second Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University were selected as the subjects and randomly divided into a control group(30 students,taught in a conventional manner)and an observation group(30 students,taught in a PACS combined with network multimedia teaching method)based on a numerical table.Evaluate the teaching effectiveness of two groups.Results The results showed that there was no difference in the theoretical knowledge level,practical operation ability level,case writing and physical examination level between the two groups before teaching,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After teaching,the assessment scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the evaluation of teaching methods by two groups of interns,the observation group scored higher than the control group in terms of improving clinical thinking,enhancing learning interest,enhancing self-learning ability,and reducing the difficulty of understanding theoretical knowledge and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the teaching satisfaction of the two groups,the observation group was higher than the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing PACS combined with network multimedia teaching method during the internship teaching of nephrology can effectively improve the quality of teaching in this field,help interns master and apply various professional knowledge,and increase teaching satisfaction.
