Study on Improving the Mental Health Level of Medical Students by Psychological Resilience Training
Objective To explore the effect of psychological resilience training on improving the mental health of medical students.Methods From January 2021 to January 2023,a total of 650 medical students from Chongqing Medical University were selected according to convenient cluster sampling method and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 325 students in each group.The students in the control group were given mental health education in the traditional preaching mode,and the students in the observation group were given psychological resilience training.The psychological resilience level of students before and after the intervention was assessed using the Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC).China college student mental health scale(CCSMHS)was used to evaluate the mental health level of students before and after the intervention,and statistical analysis was conducted.Results After intervention,the scores of all factors in CD-RISC scale were increased in both groups,and the scores and total scores of all factors in observation group were higher than those in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the CCSMHS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological resilience training can improve the level of medical psychological resilience and effectively improve the mental health of medical students.
