Application Effect and Analysis of Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Undergraduate Obstetrics and Gynecology Course Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of curriculum ideology and politics in obstetrics and gynecology course teaching.Methods From March 2021 to March 2022,a total of 80 four-year clinical medicine students were selected from Jinzhou Medical University,which were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,with 40 students in each group.Students of two groups received obstetrics and gynecology course teaching,and the observation group arranged 10 minutes in each class on the basis of the original course to give curriculum ideology and politics education,included the history of obstetrics and gynecology in China,parent-child relationship and ethics,the development of obstetrics and gynecology in new China,and the social significance of obstetrics and gynecology.Students of two groups were given questionnaires and given a final exam in obstetrics and gynecology at the end of the semester.Compared the satisfaction score,ideological and political course recognition score,final exam score of the two group teachers.The correlation between teacher satisfaction,ideological and political curriculum recognition and final grades was analyzed.Results The students in the observation group scored(86.3±13.2)points for teacher satisfaction and(90.5±10.6)points for ideological and political course recognition,while the students in the control group scored(78.9±11.6)points for teacher satisfaction and(71.5±15.3)points for ideological and political course recognition.The scores of teacher satisfaction and recognition in the observation group were higher than those in the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The students in the observation group scored(86.5±11.7)points in the final theoretical examination,(83.5±17.4)points in the practical skills examination,and(84.2±16.0)points in the final total examination.The students in the control group scored(73.1±16.2)points in the final theoretical examination,(63.5±8.9)points in the practical skills examination,and(70.6±13.3)points in the final total.The scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The final score of students were positively correlated with teacher satisfaction and ideological and political curriculum recognition(P<0.05).Conclusion Adding ideological and political education to undergraduate obstetrics and gynecology courses can significantly improve students'satisfaction with teachers and final scores.In the further the medical university should develop ideological and political courses suitable for this major according to the characteristics of different professional courses.
