This article aims to carry out the"four-sphere integrated"reform of blended medical English teaching in the new era from a longitudinal perspective.Under the guidance of latest national policies,usage-based approaches in second language acquisition theories and foreign language teaching methods,a reform of medical English teaching in terms of learning objectives,teaching materials,teaching design and course assessment was conducted three times in a medical school in Shandong Province since September 2021 and its efficacy was assessed by questionnaires.The questionnaire results show that the knowledge,ability and attitude objectives were almost in accordance with students'learning needs and language proficiency;the satisfaction rates towards online course,offline teaching materials,offline teaching methods and course assessment were over 90%.The"four-sphere integrated"reform of blended medical English teaching was successful.
