Postgraduate education in orthodontics is crucial to disciplinary development.However,the traditional training mode mainly focuses on professional competence while neglecting the education of ideological qualities.This has resulted in an imbalance in the cultivation of postgraduate students'ideology and behavior.It is necessary to strengthen the ideological and political education in the curriculum for postgraduate students in orthodontics.To overcome the arbitrariness of the current curriculum ideology and politics in orthodontics,it is proposed to apply the technique of"lesson presentation"to the curriculum's ideological and political education.Before the lesson presentation,teachers should be well-prepared and integrate ideological and political education into the content of the orthodontics course based on its characteristics.During the lesson presentation,a framework of"content-students-teaching methods-teaching procedures"should be followed.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the students'situation,elements of disciplinary development,school spirit,medical ethics,and professionalism should be naturally integrated.The teaching forms should be diverse and relevant to both daily life and the profession,making the ideological and political education more vivid and concrete.In the implementation process,teachers should pay attention to targeting,consider both details and conciseness,and emphasize key points.Ultimately,through the technique of lesson presentation,the goal of ideological and political education is achieved.
