Application of the New Online and Offline Mixed Teaching Model in the Teaching of Basic Nursing
Objective To evaluate the application effect of the new online and offline mixed teaching mode in Basic Nursing.Methods A total of nursing students from Jinzhou Medical University from September 2020 to July 2021 in grade 2020 and from September 2021 to July 2022 in grade 2021 were selected as the research subjects,a total of 30 nursing students from grade 2020 were randomly selected as the control group,and 30 nursing students from grade 2021 were randomly selected as the observation group.The control group adopted traditional teaching mode,while the observation group adopted a new online and offline mixed teaching mode.The academic performance and the difference in learning engagement,learning ability,and satisfaction ratings with teaching modes between the two groups of students before and after teaching were compared.Results The online score[(18.07±1.86)points],offline operation score[(15.86±1.14)points]and final score[(68.19±0.57)points]of the observation group after teaching were all higher than those of the control group[(14.59±1.42)points,(13.23±1.05)points,and(64.60±0.31)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The difference in the scores of behavioral engagement,cognitive engagement,and emotional engagement in the observation group before and after teaching were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The difference in the scores of learning motivation,planning and implementation,self-management and interpersonal communication in the observation group before and after teaching were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in the scores of learning value,teaching enthusiasm and organization,group interaction between teachers and students,interpersonal relationship between teachers and students,teacher knowledge width,course management,homework amount and difficulty in the observation group before and after teaching were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of the new online and offline mixed teaching mode in Basic Nursing was significant,which could improve academic performance,learning input level,and enhance self-directed learning ability and teaching satisfaction.
