Effect Analysis of Six-Step Standard Communication Process in Clinical Teaching of Junior Nurses
Objective To explore the application effect of six-step standard communication process in the clinical teaching experience of junior nurses.Methods A total of 30 nurses with 1~5 years of junior experience who had been working in the orthopedic surgery/burn department of West China Hospital of Sichuan University from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into the study group(n=15)and the control group(n=15).The study group was given the six-step standard communication process for teaching training,while the control group was given the conventional teaching training method.The communication behavior ability and teaching training satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results Compared the two groups of low-seniority nurses in various aspects of communication and behavior ability,the average score of nurses in the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Compared the two groups of low-seniority nurses in the teaching and training satisfaction,the average score of nurses in the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The six-step standard communication process is applied to the experience of clinical teaching training for nursing staff with low seniority,and nurses became more confident after improving the communication skills and adaptability of clinical nurses.In the training process,through steps,experience,reflection,and sharing to continuously strengthen the memory,can achieve the role of improving the quality of clinical nursing service,so as to improve the communication ability of nurses with low seniority and the satisfaction of teaching training.
