Exploration on the Reform of the Case Base for the Joint Construction of Teachers and Students in Imaging Diagnosis for Professional Degree Postgraduates
Imaging diagnostics focuses on the study of the image characteristics of diseases of various systems in X-ray imaging(X radiation),computed tomography(CT),and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).It is a core course in the field of radiation medicine. How to cultivate students'ability to think independently, solve clinical problems, and innovate in scientific research within a limited time is the focus and purpose of graduate education reform.Case study teaching method helps to enhance students'ability to solve practical problems and enhance their interest in learning, therefore it is one of the main plans for current teaching reform. But where do the cases of case teaching come from? How to mobilize more students to actively participate? How to make students more flexible in applying their learned knowledge? To address these issues, the Medical Imaging Teaching and Research Office of Wannan Medical College has attempted to explore teaching reform by taking students as the main body and jointly building a case library between teachers and graduate students. The article analyzes the significance of jointly building a case library between teachers and students, cultivates students'clinical abilities, and enhances the comprehensive quality of teachers;the specific implementation methods of the case library were emphasized, including the collection and screening of case materials, the production of cases, and the import of case libraries;finally, the effectiveness of collaborative case library construction between teachers and students was summarized. This exploration can provide some reference for the development of case libraries for other courses.
