Application Research of Blended Teaching Model Based on Flipped Classroom in the teaching of Residents in the Department of Cardiology
Objective To explore the effect of the blended teaching mode based on flipped classroom(FC)in the teaching of residents in the department of cardiology.Methods From May 2021 to December 2021,a total of 60 interns form Southeast University Affiliated Zhongda Hospital in the department of cardiology were selected as research subjects,and randomly divided into two groups,with a total of 30 students in each group.The experimental group received flipped classroom combined with case-based learning,and the control group accepted traditional classroom and combined with case-based learning,and the teaching effect was evaluated by theoretical examinations,clinical skills assessments,case analyzes and questionnaires evaluation.Results The theoretical test,clinical skills test and case analysis scores of the experimental group were(25.37±1.82)points,(35.40±1.96)points and(25.47±1.76)points,respectively,which were higher than those of the control group(22.70±1.93)points,(32.83±2.26)points and(23.53±1.96)points,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The questionnaire survey showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group in stimulating the interest in independent learning,improving the ability of literature review,self-evaluation of the mastery of the knowledge learned,improving the diagnosis and treatment thinking of related diseases,and improving the communication ability between doctors and patients,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the traditional teaching method,the blended teaching mode based on FC can significantly improve the teaching success in the teaching of Residents in the department of cardiology,and has a certain promotion value.
