Application of 3D Printing Teaching Aids Combined With CBL Teaching Method in the Resident Training of Neurosurgery
Objective To explore the application value of 3D printing teaching aids combined with case-based learning(case-based learning,CBL)teaching method in the resident standardized training(short for resident training)of neurosurgery.Methods A total of 60 residents who were trained in the department of neurosurgery of Shaoxing People's Hospital from July 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into the test group(n=30)and the control group(n=30).The test group was taught with 3D printing teaching aids combined with CBL teaching method and the control group was taught with traditional CBL teaching method.The teaching aids were mainly general imaging materials.After training,the students of the two groups were assessed for their theoretical knowledge,imaging reading and satisfaction.Satisfaction was composed of improving study interest,deepening course understanding,improving operation ability,improving study confidence and improving communication ability.Results The theoretical knowledge assessment score of the test group[(85.80±4.56)points]was higher than that of the control group[(82.30±5.47)points]and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The image reading assessment score of the test group[(84.73±3.94)points]was higher than that of the control group[(80.97±5.10)points]and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of the test group in improving learning interest,deepening course understanding and improving operation ability(86.67%,66.67%and 70.00%)were higher than those of the control group(56.67%,36.67%and 40.00%)and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The test group(60.00%,73.33%)and the control group(53.33%,50.00%)in the aspects of improving learning confidence and improving communication ability were compared and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion 3 D printing teaching aids combined with CBL teaching method can improve the effect of the resident standardized training of neurosurgery.
