Application Effect of MOOC in Standardized Training of General Surgery Resident
Objective To analyze the application effect of MOOC in standardized training of general surgery residents.Methods A total of 100 general surgery resident doctors rotating in the Clinical Medicine School of Jiamusi University from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research subjects,they were randomly divided into the control group(traditional clinical teaching mode)and the observation group(MOOC combined with traditional clinical teaching mode)according to random number table method,with 50 resident doctors in each group.The scores of critical thinking,theoretical examination,operation skills,surgical techniques,doctor-patient communication ability and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in critical thinking scores between the two groups before the course(P>0.05).The scores of critical thinking in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of theoretical examination,operation skills,surgical skills and doctor-patient communication ability of resident doctors in the observation group[(91.32±5.23)points,(94.66±3.54)points,(8.96±1.15)points,(9.32±0.23)points]were higher than those in the control group[(86.69±4.56)points,(88.67±5.64)points,(7.01±1.12)points,(7.69±1.56)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of resident doctors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive application value of MOOC for standardized training of general surgical residents is higher.In the clinical teaching of resident physicians,the application of MOOCs teaching mode can further enhance the critical thinking,theoretical knowledge,and practical skills of surgical residents.At the same time,the satisfaction of surgical residents with training results is higher.The comprehensive value of this clinical teaching mode is higher,and it is recommended to promote its clinical application.
