Exploration on the Graduate Training Model in Periodontal Research From the Perspective of Integrating Medicine and Engineering
The disciplines of medicine and engineering have their own distinct development directions and teaching systems,but the integration of the two can create more knowledge and technological applications.The treatment of periodontal diseases requires interdisciplinary collaboration,posing challenges to the education of periodontology research students.Therefore,this study explores innovative approaches in educating periodontology research students in the era of medical engineering integration.It emphasizes the cultivation of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in periodontology research students,encompassing medicine,engineering technology,materials science,and other areas.Proposed strategies include interdisciplinary cross-teaching,design of engineering projects,encouragement of creativity and entrepreneurship,and increasing opportunities for academic exchanges to enhance the research and innovation capabilities of periodontology research students.Additionally,periodontology research students need to focus on the concept of"integration of medicine and engineering",emphasizing the consolidation of knowledge systems in medical engineering and leveraging emerging technologies such as intelligent medicine to advance the field of periodontology.Overall,medical engineering education will be crucial in providing essential support for the education of future periodontology research students and promoting innovation and development in the field of medicine.
