The Application of CBL Teaching Method in the Course of General Introduction to Jurisprudence for the Major of Medical Product Management
e The course of General Introduction to Jurisprudence is designed for first-year students majoring in medical product management at Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sciences.The teaching objectives include achieving a solid foundation in legal knowledge,improving case analysis abilities,and forming a habit of law-based thinking.It is difficult to achieve these objectives solely based on traditional lecture-based learning(LBL)teaching method,and it is imperative to innovate teaching method and implement case-based learning(CBL)teaching method.Implementing CBL teaching method is a systematic work.The application of this method in theoretical teaching can be carried out from the aspects of knowledge points preparation,case introduction,questioning,and organizing discussions.Simple mock courts can be introduced into practical teaching,starting from case analysis,document preparation,court sessions and others steps.To improve application effectiveness,teachers should pay attention to the appropriateness and difficulty of the selected cases,introduce legal events,law enforcement cases,and judicial cases related to medical products.At the same time,online and offline channels can be established to continuously track teaching quality and improve teaching effectiveness based on the superstar learning platform and the undergraduate teaching incentive plan.
