Application of WeChat Video Combined With PBL Teaching Method in the Teaching of Digestive Endoscopy Center
Objective To explore the application effect of WeChat video combined with problem-based learning(PBL)in the teaching of advanced nurses in digestive endoscopy centers.Methods From February 2019 to February 2023,a total of 50 trainee nurses who studied at the digestive endoscopy center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the targets.Among them,a total of 25 students in the control group were taught clinical nursing using traditional teaching methods,while 25 students in the observation group were taught clinical nursing using WeChat video combined with PBL teaching method.The learning quality,critical thinking ability,and teaching satisfaction of two groups of advanced nurses were observed and compared.Results The scores of theoretical knowledge,practical operation and total score of learning effect in the observation group were(92.16±5.28)points,(94.29±5.55)points and(90.73±8.73)points,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in the control group[(82.53±5.26)points,(83.18±5.76)points and(90.73±8.73)points].The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).After teaching,the total score of evaluative thinking ability in the observation group was(279.71±20.73)points,which was significantly higher than that in the control group[(239.96±23.38)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the observation group,the scores of teaching attitude,teaching content satisfaction and teaching content and teaching effect satisfaction were(97.54±3.65)points,(95.86±3.16)points,(95.16±3.46)points,(96.16±3.58)points,respectively,significantly higher than those of the control group[(88.46±3.54)points,(87.54±3.45)points,(81.06±3.50)points,(80.45±3.85)points],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The application of WeChat video combined with PBL teaching method in the teaching of advanced nurses in digestive endoscopy centers can improve their learning quality,critical thinking ability,and teaching satisfaction.
