Effect of Weekly Goal Teaching Method Based on ASK and OSCE on Humanistic Care Ability of Undergraduate Nursing Students in Operating Room
Objective To investigate the application of weekly goal teaching method based on attitude-skill-knowledge(ASK)and objective structured clinical examination(OSCE)in the undergraduate nursing education for operating room students,and its impact on humanistic care capability.Methods A total of 92 senior nursing students from August 2021 to April 2022 at operating room in Liaocheng People's Hospital were selected as the control group,and conventional teaching methods were used for training and assessment.A total of 95 undergraduate nursing students who practiced from August 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the observation group,and the weekly goal teaching method based on ASK and OSCE was adopted to conduct the graduation assessment,and the humanistic care scale scores of the nursing students in the two groups were compared.Results The total score of the observation group's nursing students'humanistic care ability[(183.24±13.41)points vs.(172.33±13.59)points],cognitive score[(74.72±8.27)points vs.(70.47±8.98)points],courage score[(59.31±9.43)points vs.(48.55±7.94)points]and patience score[(58.29±5.66)points vs.(54.09±5.27)points]were all higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The weekly goal teaching method based on ASK and OSCE can improve the humanistic caring ability and personal quality of nursing students,and achieve the training effect of teaching and learning.
