Application of Blended Teaching Mode Based on Rain Classroom in Ophthalmology Teaching
Objective To explore the teaching effect of blended teaching mode based on rain classroom in ophthalmology theory teaching.Methods From March to June 2022,a total of 188 students from Class 7 and 8 of Clinical Medicine major of Kunming Medical University in 2018 were selected as subjects.Among them,67 students from the Class 7 were selected as the observation group,and the theoretical teaching of ophthalmology was taught using a blended teaching mode based on the rain classroom;121 students from the Class 8 were selected as the control group,and the theoretical teaching of ophthalmology was taught with the traditional teaching method of slides and teacher lectures.The teaching teachers and teaching hours were the same for both classes.The students'recognition of the teaching effect,the students'satisfaction with the teaching and final total scores of the two groups were recorded and compared respectively.Results The total score of the observation group receiving mixed teaching mode was(79.70±3.63)points,which was higher than that of the control group receiving traditional teaching mode[(77.33±5.08)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The overall recognition of the teaching effect of the observation group was 91.04%,higher than that of the control group(69.42%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The overall satisfaction of the observation group was 92.54%,higher than that of the control group(74.38%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The blended teaching mode based on rain classroom can improve students'theoretical grades,recognition of teaching effectiveness,and satisfaction with teachers.It is a new teaching model suitable for ophthalmology theory teaching.
