Exploration on the Current Situation to"Bi-Title Instructors"Teachers'Ethics From the Perspective of Medical Students
Objective To explore the current situation and existing problems of"bi-title instructors"clinical teachers'ethics from the perspective of students,and practice countermeasures to continuously improve the construction level of clinical teachers'ethics in affiliated colleges and universities.Methods The 5-year,8-year and resident standardized training medical students enrolled in department of pediatrics of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital,Shanghai JiaoTong University School of Medicine,from January to December 2022 were selected,and a questionnaire survey was conducted on the ideological and political aspects,educational and teaching literacy,teacher-student relationship,and scientific research of teachers before and after the construction of teacher'ethics.A total of 45 questionnaires were distributed.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 42"bi-title instructor"clinical teachers in the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital,Shanghai JiaoTong University School of Medicine to understand the attitude of the teachers in the affiliated hospitals of colleges and universities to participate in the construction of teacher' ethics and teacher ethics assessment.Results Through the construction of teachers'ethics and style,teachers'ideological and political education,teaching literacy,teacher-student relationships,and scientific research had all been improved to varying degrees.There were statistically significant differences in the improvement of"fulfilling teacher responsibilities,taking teaching and nurturing as one's own responsibility""providing extracurricular tutoring to students""exploring thinking,stimulating learning interest""keeping pace with the times,leading scientific knowledge""teaching methods were flexible,good at inspiring thinking,and mobilizing classroom atmosphere""teaching language was vivid,organized,and teaching level was high""lesson preparation was sufficient,teaching materials were proficient,and not following textbooks""scientific research was dedicated to society and benefiting the people as the core"(P<0.05).Conclusion The construction and assessment system of teachers'ethics are of great practical significance for the improvement of teachers'ethics of"bi-title instructor"teachers.
