Construction and Implementation of the OSCE Assessment System Based on Teacher Standardized Patient in Obstetrics and Gynecology
The mastery of professional clinical skills is a necessary qualification for engaging in medical work,and the objective appraise and assessment of clinical ability of medical students has been the orientation of teaching staffs in medical colleges and universities to explore.This article started with the examination of obstetrics and gynecology practice,described the construction scheme and application of the evaluation system of objective structured clinical examination(OSCE)based on teacher standardized patient(TSP),which is consistent with students'academic characteristics and job needs.Moreover,the effectiveness,reliability and suitability of TSP/OSCE were evaluated by analyzing the organizational structure of the OSCE assessment system and the results of the OSCE exam for undergraduate interns in clinical medicine,as well as the difficulty,differentiation,reliability and suitability of the test questions,and the scheme to further optimize the TSP/OSCE assessment system was discussed.This study provides a basis for scientific and objective evaluation of the clinical ability of interns,and also provides reference for improving the clinical practice level of medical students and promoting the training of"application-oriented"talents.
