Research and Practice of PBL Combined With CBL Teaching Method in the Teaching of Vascular Surgery
Objective To analyze the practical effect of problem-based pedagogy(PBL)and case teaching method(CBL)in the teaching of vascular surgery.Methods A total of 60 clinical trainees from the department of vascular surgery of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical College from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the observation group and PBL combined with CBL teaching method was implemented.A total of 58 clinical trainees from April 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the control group to implement routine teaching.The basic theoretical knowledge,case analysis results and teaching effects of the two groups of interns were analyzed.Results The results of basic theoretical knowledge and case analysis in the observation group were(83.63±4.28)points and(86.63±3.46)points,respectively,while those in the control group were(78.52±3.46)points and(77.15±4.27)points,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of literature retrieval,language expression,team cooperation,comprehensive analysis and exploration and innovation in the observation group were(1.75±0.63)points,(1.63±0.25)points,(1.66±0.34)points,(1.72±0.52)points and(1.78±0.58)points,respectively.The control group was(1.02±0.35)points,(1.05±0.33)points,(1.08±0.42)points,(1.08±0.63)points,(1.11±0.37)points,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion PBL combined with CBL teaching method can effectively improve students'basic theoretical knowledge and case analysis ability,and cultivate students'comprehensive ability and innovative thinking ability,which is helpful to promote students'all-round development.
