Effect of Case-Based Learning Method Combined With Clinical Pathway in the Teaching of Psychological Interns
Objective To analyze the application effect of case-based learning method combined with clinical pathway in the teaching of psychological interns.Methods From October 2022 to December 2023,a total of 46 psychological interns from the Second People's Hospital of Lishui were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by random drawing,with 23 interns in each group.The control group used conventional teaching methods,while the observation group used case-based learning combined with clinical pathways.The assessment scores,comprehensive ability scores,self-evaluation of interns,and teaching satisfaction of interns after teaching between the two groups were analyzed.Results The scores of case analysis[(87.46±6.93)points],the clinical skills operation[(90.63±7.26)points]and the theoretical examination[(92.74±7.62)points]of the observation group were higher than those of the control group[(81.02±6.04)points,(80.74±6.15)points,and(85.26±6.49)points],with statistical significance(P<0.05).After teaching,the scores of thinking ability,autonomous learning ability,clinical adaptability and problem analysis ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The conformity rates of self-assessment questionnaires such as stimulating interest in learning,enhancing interaction and cooperation,meeting clinical needs,cultivating clinical thinking ability,being inspiring,and self-directed learning ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction questionnaire score of the interns in the observation group was(96.26±7.63)points,which was higher than that of the control group[(91.85±7.14)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The case-based learning method combined with clinical pathway can further enhance the clinical adaptability of psychological interns,improve teaching satisfaction and teaching quality.
