Application Effect of Doctor-Patient Communication Skill Education in Pediatric Internship Teaching
Objective To analyze the application effect of doctor-patient communication skills education in paediatric internship teaching.Methods A total of 60 pediatric internship from January to December 2021 from Binzhou Medical University Hospital were selected as research subject,and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group based on the random number table method,with 30 internship in each group.The control group used conventional teaching,and the observation group used doctor-patient communication skills education.The total satisfaction of teaching,adaptability ability,comprehensive ability,and the total incidence of doctor-patient disputes were compared between the two groups.Results The total satisfaction of teaching in the observation group was 100%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of adaptability ability such as job responsibilities[(94.67±2.12)points],empathy abilities[(81.59±2.82)points],psychological counseling abilities[(92.12±3.07)points],and emergency response abilities[(90.10±2.82)points]of interns in the observation group were higher than those in the control group[(84.53±2.38)points,(61.62±4.31)points,(76.27±2.84)points,(72.84±3.63)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The scores of comprehensive ability such as theoretical knowledge[(93.58±3.12)points],disease reporting[(92.52±2.84)points],operation skills[(95.31±2.83)points]and ward round nursing[(95.52±2.12)points]in the observation group were higher than those in the control group[(85.37±2.89)points,(80.17±2.76)points,(83.57±1.69)points,(81.39±2.70)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The total incidence of doctor-patient disputes in the observation group was 6.67%,which was lower than 33.33%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of doctor-patient communication skills education in pediatric internship teaching can improve the teaching satisfaction,adaptability and comprehensive ability of interns.
