Exploration and Practice of Bilingual Teaching of Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Cultivating International Excellent Talent
Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)internal medicine is rich in original traditional Chinese medicine thinking and unique diagnosis and treatment ideas,and it plays a fundamental and key role in the inheritance,development,and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine academia.Bilingual teaching refers to using two languages as teaching media to achieve the dual purpose of learning subject knowledge and breaking language barriers.With the goal to cultivate international outstanding talents in higher TCM colleges and universities,teaching TCM internal medicine bilingually in Chinese and English can improve students'ability to express and apply TCM professional English,expand their clinical and academic communication fields,and gain greater development potential.This paper put forward that bilingual teaching of TCM internal medicine is helpful to enhance international recognition of TCM,strengthen communication and cooperation between Chinese and western medicine,disseminate the distinctive culture of the Chinese nation,and attract foreign talents to visit and study in China.Through the exploration and practice of bilingual teaching of TCM internal medicine with attempt to innovate teaching philosophy,reform teaching methods,and conduct formative evaluation is beneficial to improve the international teaching level and academic influence of in higher TCM colleges and universities.
