Internal medicine belongs to the western medicine curriculum group in the core curriculum module of traditional Chinese medicine major of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine,which is a landing course bearing the goal of moral education because of its comprehensive social and humanistic attributes.At present,there is insufficient value guidance in teaching.Curriculum education is difficult to internalize,difficult to practice,and students'learning enthusiasm and participation consciousness are not lasting real problems that affect and restrict the overall development of students.Under the new medical science context,to meet the demand for Chinese medicine talents who can integrate traditional Chinese and western medicine,and excel in both medical skills and ethics,in line with the development of the new era in China,this article proposes an approach based on the concept of"double thinking and double integration".This approach involves integrating two types of"clinical thinking"that emphasize both Chinese and western medicine,while respecting their differences and harmonies,and blending two types of"educational ideologies"that focus on both professional skills and benevolence in medical practice.By centering on"core knowledge points"and deeply exploring the ideological and political elements embedded within,this approach aims to fully leverage the advantages of"implicit and practical education"in specialized courses.Through the exploration and practice of"double thinking and double integration"internal medicine course ideological and political teaching mode for Qihuang Elite Class of clinical medicine major of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine from 2017 to 2019,the effect of ideological and political teaching is analyzed in order to obtain the direction of improvement.It provides referential value for Chinese medicine specialty to carry out ideological and political construction of western internal medicine curriculum.
