The Application Value of Multimodal Integrated Teaching Method for Internship Nurses in Anesthesia Department
Objective To explore the the impact of multimodal integrated teaching method on the comprehensive and core abilities of anesthesia intern nurses.Methods A total of 25 nurses who interned in the anesthesiology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from January to June 2022 were selected as the control group,and another 25 nurses who interned in the anesthesiology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from July 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the observation group.The control group adopted a conventional teaching mode,while the observation group adopted a multimodal integrated teaching method.The theoretical performance ability,comprehensive ability,and core ability of the two groups of intern nurses were compared.Results The theoretical performance,skill operation scores,and case analysis scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group when they left the department(P<0.001).The nursing evaluation ability,problem-solving ability,technical operation ability,nurse patient communication ability,and condition observation ability scores of the observation group nurses were higher than those of the control group(P<0.001).The scores of leadership,clinical nursing,professional development,educational consultation,interpersonal relationship,critical thinking,scientific research,legal and ethical practice and other core competencies in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.001).The overall pass rate of the observation group students was 100%,which was higher than 72.00%of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The multimodal integrated teaching method can not only improve the theoretical performance ability of anesthesia interns,but also enhance their comprehensive and core abilities.
