Exploration and Practice of the Ideological and Political Education Path in the Course of Pathophysiology Based on the OBE Concept
Objective To explore the implementation path and application effect of ideological and political education in the course of Pathophysiology based on the outcome-based education(OBE)concept.Methods A total of 1168 students of grade 2019 and 2020 majoring in clinical medicine,stomatology and medical imaging in Zhuhai Campus of Zunyi Medical University were selected as research objects from March 2021 to July 2022.The students of grade 2019 were the control group(n=577),and the students of grade 2020 were the experimental group(n=591).A blended teaching method of online and offline classes was adopted by both groups of students in the course of pathophysiology.The experimental group was subjected to implementation of ideological and political education within the course based on the the OBE concept.The application effect of ideological and political education in the course of Pathophysiology based on OBE concept was assessed through a comparative analysis of final exam scores,the count of participants engaged in innovation program training projects,and responses from questionnaire surveys.Results Compared with the control group[(62.46±17.36)points],the final exam score of experimental group[(68.82±17.48)points]was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of participants in the innovation training programs for college students in the experimental group increased significantly compared with the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Through the questionnaire survey,it was found that the number of students in the experimental group believed that it was necessary to integrate curriculum ideology and politics into classroom teaching and that the number of students who believed that integrating curriculum ideology and politics into classroom teaching could improve their learning interest was also more than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,the overall satisfaction of students in the experimental group was slightly higher than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of the ideological and political education approach in the course of pathophysiology based on the OBE concept,is conducive to enhancing students'interest in learning,improving their final examination scores,and fostering a stronger intention to participate in college student innovation training programs.
