The mainland of China and Hong Kong communicate more and more frequently,especially in the field of medical and health care.This article provides an overall introduction of continuing medical education and continuous professional development(CME/CPD)in Hong Kong,including policies,regulations,management systems,operational mechanisms,forms,and credit management of CME/CPD,compares and provides insights on management mechanisms,credit requirements,and other aspects with CME/CPD in the mainland of China.This will provide reference for continuing medical education colleagues to better understand Hong Kong's CME/CPD,and to better carry out the policy research and development practice of CME/CPD in the mainland of China.
