Analysis of the Effect of Applying Micro-Lecture Combined With Flipped Classroom Teaching in the Practical Teaching of Periodontology
Objective To analyze the effect of micro-lecture combined with flipped classroom teaching method in the practical teaching of periodontology.Methods A total of 42 undergraduates of grade 2018 majoring in stomatology were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,21 undergraduates in each group.The control group was given traditional teaching methods,and the experimental group was given micro-lecture combined with flipped classroom teaching method.The study was started from September 2021 to August 2022.After the teaching,the theoretical test and practical skills test were compared,and evaluate the teaching satisfaction.Results The theoretical test scores of the experimental and control groups were(43.62±2.48)points and(41.05±2.36)points respectively,and the practical skills scores were(41.05±3.11)points and(38.90±2.74)points respectively,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was(2.62±0.59)points,which was higher than that of the control group[(2.24±0.62)points],and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The micro-lecture combined with the flipped classroom teaching method can effectively improve the teaching quality of the the practical teaching of Periodontology.
