The Impact of the Combination of PBL and CBL Teaching Method on the Teaching Quality of Nursing Interns Using Teaching Path Methods
Objective To analyze the impact of the combination of problem-based teaching method and case-based teaching method on the teaching quality of nursing interns using the teaching path method, and to provide effective reference for the development of teaching plans or methods for nursing interns. Methods Data from all teaching teachers and students who participated in nursing internships from August 2021 to July 2023 were selected for the study.A total of 36 interns from August 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the control group and taught using the teaching path method.A total of 38 interns from August 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research group, using the nursing teaching path and combining problem based and case based teaching methods. The scores of theoretical knowledge, internship skills, clinical comprehensive abilities(learning performance, communication skills, nursing thinking and nursing decision-making),the overall effectiveness and teaching satisfaction of the teaching modes of the two groups of interns were compared. Results The rate of the overall effectiveness and teaching satisfaction of the teaching modes of the research group was 97.37%and 97.37%,which were higher than those of the control group(77.78%and 83.33%).The difference of the overall effectiveness rate of the teaching modes between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of theoretical knowledge, internship skills, learning performance, communication, nursing thinking, nursing decision-making in the research group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of problem-based teaching method and case-based teaching method using the teaching path method has a positive significance for the teaching quality of nursing interns, and can improve the excellent rate of teaching students.
