Objective To explore the changes of professional theoretical knowledge,technical operation ability and employment direction of obstetrical medical interns after the implementation of personalized teaching mode.Methods A total of 74 medical interns who practiced in the department of obstetrics and gynecology of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University are participated in the study from March 2021 to March 2022,and were randomly divided into control group and experimental group by computer,with 37 interns in each group.The traditional teaching mode was adopted in the control group,and the personalized teaching mode was adopted in the experimental group.The scores of professional theoretical knowledge,technical operation ability,the students'satisfaction with teachers,postgraduate entrance examination rates and changes in the direction of study and employment were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of professional theoretical knowledge(68.29％vs.39.47％)and skill qualification rate(73.17％vs.42.11％)of experimental group were higher than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-evaluation score of teaching satisfaction in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(87.8％vs.60.00％),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postgraduate entrance examination rate of experimental group was higher than that of control group(67.86％vs.47.83％),and the difference was no statistically significant(P>0.05).The percentage of obstetrics and gynecology in experimental group was higher than that in control group(29.27％vs.10.53％),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the personalized teaching model on the clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology,can improve students'theoretical achievement,operational ability,enrollment rate and satisfaction degree in obstetrics and gynecology clinical teaching,which is an effective way to improve teaching quality.
